Apart from being a dance artist, Robert Hartama is also involved in handicrafts activities such as making traditional crafts of miniatur Dayak Ma'anyan house as known as name Betang, miniature of hornbill garden and various other typical Dayak ornaments.

In addition, there are many community activities that are carried out by Robert Hartama, including training various studios in East Barito in several sub-districts, and has been trusted to train in several school level for elementary, junior and high schools.
